This sermon shares a story I wrote called “The Innkeepers Witness” offered using this fictional character to remind us during Advent that the best way to prepare for the coming of Christ is to never forget the presence of Christ. Henry Van Dyke’s The Other Wiseman inspired how I wove the innkeeper’s story into appropriate scripture settings. There’s a musical setting as well which can be found under the Deep Church Tab.
