The Twelfth Sunday After Pentecost Sermon – August 15, 2021

My sermon reminds us of what it means to be bold enough to share the saving embrace we have found in the love of Jesus Christ. I recalled how a fifth grade boy proved to be an effective representative of Jesus with his friends from the time I lived in Tuscaloosa AL. Preached on The Twelfth Sunday After Pentecost (Proper 15) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Edenton NC on August 15, 2021.

I begin with this sermon a relationship with St. Paul’s Edenton over the next three months as the Sunday Celebrant and Preacher while their rector is on sabbatical.
